About Anjana Silva

Remote Work Coach, Tech Consultant & Fractional Advisor | Remote Winners
AnjanaSilva-RemoteWinners

I’m Anjana Silva. I started working remotely in 2011, years before it became mainstream — working for an organisation in Australia from my hometown of Nugegoda, Sri Lanka, long before the pandemic made distributed work a global conversation.

Since then, I’ve spent 15+ years working with, mentoring, and consulting for remote teams across India, Canada, the UK, the USA, the Maldives, Germany, and Lebanon. That experience taught me something most people don’t say plainly: the challenges of remote work are fundamentally different from the challenges of office work. Same people, same projects, same deadlines, same tools — completely different problems.

Remote Winners exists because I couldn’t find a single place that addressed those problems honestly and practically. So I built it.

🚀 What I do

I work with three types of people:

Remote professionals, team leaders, and startup founders who need coaching to grow, lead, and thrive in a distributed world. Startups and businesses that need hands-on tech consulting — from cloud infrastructure and cybersecurity to DevOps, API strategy, and digital transformation. And founders or senior leaders who need an ongoing strategic partner across both technology and operations, without a full-time hire — that’s my Fractional Partnership.

Everything I offer comes from real experience, not theory. I’ve been in the software engineering trenches for 15+ years. I know what works.

🤝 Why professionals trust me

He not only possesses deep expertise in many tech stacks but is very attentive when it comes to mentoring engineers and naturally fostering a truly collaborative environment. He consistently turned complex problems into clear, actionable development plans, allowing for quick and easy action from developers.
